The Lone Pine Inn is perfectly situated on a quiet street, just a 2 minute walk to Gull Lake Park where you can enjoy the picturesque Gull Lake, public tennis courts, a beautiful sand beach for sunning or swimming & picnic areas and it is a great place to walk your dogs. (we are pet friendly after all)
We are a 10 minute walk from main street shops, restaurants, Sawdust City Brewery and a 10 minute drive from world class golf courses; Taboo and Muskoka Bay Club. The historic Muskoka Bay Wharf is located on the other side of town just a 5 minute drive away. There you can enjoy the iconic Steam Ships Cruises, Grace and Speed museum, special events as well as shopping and dining.
Whether you are visiting Muskoka for the first time or a regular visitor, Gravenhurst, the Gateway to Muskoka is the place to come and The Lone Pine Inn is a great place to stay.
Owners Rob & Karla purchased the property, that now homes the Lone Pine Inn, in the spring of 2015 and spent nearly a year doing extensive renovations to realize their dream of transforming the property. Doors to the Lone Pine Inn opened in August of 2016. It’s been a pleasure to see the place transformed and now provide a rustic, getaway space for people looking to enjoy all that Muskoka has to offer.
In July 2017, the Lone Pine Inn received the ‘Built Heritage Award’ from the Gravenhurst Municipal Heritage Committee. This award recognizes the dedicated efforts made to foster Gravenhurst’s built heritage through renovation or restoration.
The photo captures a great day in the sun as owners Karla & Rob were presented with the award. It will be displayed on site to recognize their hard work in restoring the property to the cozy, getaway-style Inn it is today!
